Grilling Goodness #26
Grilling Goodness fun hosted by Golden Goodness .
1. Do you prefer reality TV or dramas or comedies? Comedies
2. If you could have free cosmetic surgery, what would you have done? I think everyone knows this one already..
3. What are you itching to get but you have 'bitten the bullet'? a new camcorder mine still uses the little tapes.
4. Do you have a bad habit that you hope your children don't pick up? saying things like butt, cramp, darn.... it doesn't seem so bad at the time but if I heard one of my little princesses saying that I would be mortified.
5. What was your favorite meal growing up? Poke Salad made with eggs and bacon grease and eggs on a homemade buttermilk biscuit with a tall glass of sweet tea. I only like unsweet tea now and wouldn't dare eat something that unhealthy that often anymore but man does it taste good!
6. What meal did you have as a youngster that you don't have as an adult? the one above and butter beans... yuk!
7. What is your earliest memory of a "vacation"? Where'd you go? To Georgia to the swamps to see alligators with my grandparents.
8. What was the "Best Thing" you ever got for Christmas, before age 12? a baby doll complete with stroller and crib.

This is why I love him Thursday
This is why I love him Thursday...... I realize that most of you probably don't give a hoot why I love my husband, but I have found that searching myself to find reasons or looking for reasons in our daily life has brought me closer to him. He doesn't know I do this post. The more often I do this the more I think I should definitely tell him some of the reasons.... hmmm, guess I should do that.
Why do I love him:
He told me ahead of time that he had to do a side job and would be late coming home.
He decided for himself that it would be a bad idea to drive his buddy's race car this weekend.
He has promised to take the family to the flea market Sunday morning.
He reads to our little one.

Monday, Monday- How blessed are we?
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
We spent the day at Granny and Popaw's house. It was so nice having everyone together, we don't do it often enough. The only two missing were my Sis-in-law and my Jess (my sister/best friend). The kids had so many eggs to hunt all the baskets were filled! The food was great, I'd give you a run down on what I ate but it's too embarrassing! The girlies accumulated far too much chocolate, and it was wonderful!
We are so blessed as a people to be able to come together, eat what we want, talk about what we want, enjoy a Christian celebration because we want, watch our children laugh and play because we want, and complain about whatever our government is doing or not doing, without fear because we want. What else could we want?
